Bibliography of Campus Scholars
Description: Each year the Mary Livermore Library produces a bibliography of the scholarship of UNCP faculty and staff. This bibliography of recent scholarly achievements includes books, chapters, journal articles, media, reviews, presentations, etc. from the previous year.
The bibliography is usually compiled and produced as a National Library Week (NLW) activity. A reception is held in the Library during NLW to honor and recognize all faculty and staff included in the most recent bibliography. A display of copies of the creative works is set up in the Main Reading Room of the Library, and the campus scholars are invited to attend the reception and participate in the celebration.
Library staff members believe that the accomplishments of UNCP faculty and staff are a significant part of the history of the University, so each year an attempt is made to identify, record, and archive as many of these accomplishments as possible.
Copies of the bibliography are made available in the Library for patrons and each scholar is given a personal copy. Two print copies for the Library are kept in Special Collections, and, beginning in 2009, copies of the bibliographies were made available online via the Library's Special Collections/Archives web page.

College Catalogs
Description: The first college catalog was not published until 1928 when the state accredited the institution as a standard normal school. The early catalogs contain much of the information found in current college catalogs, such as calendars of university dates, lists of trustees, administrative officers and faculty, descriptions of the campus, entrance requirements, fees, general regulations, academic degrees offered, and course descriptions. However, these early catalogs also contain such historically significant items as commencement programs, class rolls, alumni lists, student medals and awards, as well as photographs of athletic teams, graduation classes, and campus buildings.

College Yearbooks
Description: Special Collections owns copies of the yearbooks published in the 119 years since the founding of the Croatan Normal School. The first to appear was The Tattler published in 1942. The next yearbook owned by the library is The Indianhead which was published in 1946. The student yearbook contains photographs of administrative staff and faculty, student activities, academic departments, and sports events.

The Elmer W. Hunt Collection
Description: The original Elmer W. Hunt Photograph Collection contained over 53,000+ negatives for photos taken by long-time University and community photographer, the late Elmer William Hunt, a local photographer who graduated from the University in 1953 when it was Pembroke State College and who served as the University's photographer from 1953 to1973. The collection contains thousands of photographs of University activities. There are also many photographs that were taken in the local schools and throughout the community, including at parades, weddings, and funerals.

Environmental Oral Histories of Southeastern North Carolina
Description: This collection features oral histories of individuals residing in Robeson and surrounding counties, with a special focus on individuals’ experiences with the environments in which they have lived and worked. Many interviewees describe living closely with the earth, on farms, and maintaining strong allegiances to the communities in which they continue to live. Many interviewees also discuss the changes to rural spaces because of development and shifting employment opportunities that they have observed across time.
Library Lines
Description: Library Lines is the newsletter of the Mary Livermore Library. Its mission is to publicize library events and services. With the first issue having been published in April 1992, Library Lines is currently published three times annually.
