UNCP awards numerous scholarships each academic year and Brave ASSIST is your one-stop shop to apply for university scholarships.
Helpful Tips:
- To be eligible for scholarship awards, you must have completed your FAFSA.
- The priority deadline for consideration of auto-match opportunities is March 1.
- All current and newly-admitted students are considered for auto-match
scholarships based on information imported from their student file. - Select scholarships require additional questions or an essay to be eligible for award.
- Application deadlines may vary and will be noted beside the opportunity.
Scholarship Opportunities:
MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Award determinations for merit scholarships are based on the student’s prior academic qualifications. Available to first-time freshmen who rank in the top of their graduating class in high school.
ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS
Friends, faculty, alumni, corporations and foundations have provided funds to aid students in the pursuit of academic achievement.
COMPASS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
This program provides scholarships to talented biology, chemistry, biotechnology and environmental science majors in their sophomore, junior and senior years. To apply visit: uncp.edu/compass
UNIVERISTY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NATIVE AMERICANS
These scholarships are designed to provide greater educational opportunities for Native Americans who are residents of North Carolina to enroll at UNCP.
